The old town of Faro went back to wearing blue last night for the solemn moment that started the XXXI Academic Week of the Algarve: the Monumental Serenade. Fado sung by students were the soundtrack for the moment when freshmen were able, for the first time, to trace their cover after being "baptized". However, students were not the only ones present at Largo da Sé in Faro. Many family members, were also present, to witness the remarkable moment for the University of Algarve students.
