'Feira Medieval de Silves' is yet another event I photographed for Sul Informacao.
The annual Medieval Fair takes over the historic town of of Silves for 10 days in August. During the festival you get to 'dress in Medieval costumes, eat and drink Medieval fare, cheer on jousting knights, dance to Medieval music and enjoy the magical atmosphere'. Festival is orginised around the Moorish Castle, giving the event a true 12th Century feel.
One of pictures I took on the previous edition of this time traveling festival, was used by its organisation as a postcard. I was so happy to see that:)
