This project has been "in making" for a long time. Ana and Mark first time reached out to me back in the beginning of 2020 to ask my prices for custom wedding favors. Unfortunately due to the Pandemic their wedding got canceled, or rather posponed :) Love always finds a way so finally in October 2021 they got to have their dreamy wedding in beautiful Spain and my creations were a part of their big day!

Five years have past since I left my job as a receptionist in Casa d'Alagoa, but it wasn't a goodbye.
Now I was invited to show my project "Portas Portuguesas" (Portuguese Doors) in one of the walls of this amazing, historical building. It always feels good to go back where you made so many memories!
If you are ever in Faro, feel free to pass by :)
Few months ago I was contacted to join new project promoting what Algarve has to offer. I made 100 swallow magnets with portuguese tiles motif for a box that will take you for sensory journey of Algarve. I am proud to be a part of Algarve Senses.
"A box that takes us to travel without leaving the place, visiting the Algarve through the senses, remembering or imagining moments lived there .
To provide this sensorial experience, we have gathered some typical products from this region, whose careful choice was based in specific criteria; quality, aesthetics, originality and environmental awareness."
My days of social distancing due to Coronavirus resulted in many completed projects, brand new creations and full stock of my shop. My only hope is that whenever this is over and I know it's not soon, I will have people interested in my work like I used to. Thank you for being here and for supporting my small business in any way you can 😍

Magda and Maciek came to Algarve to spend their honeymoon. They were newly married and brought their wedding outfits with them to Portugal! So much dedication!
They have never been to Portugal before and contacted me to take pictures of them in some of my favourite locations in the coast of Algarve. I loved meeting them so much. In fact, we then met again in one of my handcraft fairs. What a lovely couple!
Take a look at some of the pictures we took during the afternoon we spent together :)
Azores were on my "to see" list ever since I heard about them.
For our first trip to this archipelago, we chose the main Island of Sao Miguel. It was our one year wedding anniversary trip for 5 wonderful days. We could see so many different places, hike to the breathtaking viewpoints, we kayaked in one of many lagoons, have seen tousands of hortensias and happy cows. We got to see the pineapples grow and tea collection and production.
I cant wait to go there again and see all of the remaing 8 islands of Azores.

Laura and Pedro asked me to take pictures of them to celebrate their engagement. They needed good pictures to make their wedding invitations and to decorate their wedding reception.
I loved that idea so, of course, I was super excited to be a part of that project.
We took pictures in two locations: streets of Loulé, where they are both from, and a nearby Palace of Estoi where, I was shocked to learn, they have never been before!
I love both of the locations, take a look why:)
Pregnancy is such a special time. Fabiana knows that well, and being also a photgrapher, she made sure that her pregnancy is well captured on pictures :) For the photosession we chose a location that is a real nature's masterpiece in the surroundings of Aveiros beach, in Albufeira. I took the pictures during my favourite time of the day: sunset. The results are breathtaking! See for yourself!
Photo report from the opening of my first exhibition "Portas Portuguesas", in Sardinha de Papel, in Faro.
"The exhibition “Portas Portuguesas” (Portuguese Doors) shows some of the images
captured over the past six years in Portugal, from north to south of the country,
documenting the specifics of each city,in an architectural element
which is the face of any house: the door. Please come in!"

Ania and Paweł spent one day of their honeymoon, in Algarve, with me and my camera.
We started our photographic meeting in my favourite town of Ferragudo, with pictures in front of one of the most known doors in Portugal. We went through colorful streets, stopping here and there to capture the best this town has to offer. We finished the day in stunning beach of Alvor with the gorgeous sunset light.
Here are some pictures of another Polish couple that stood in front of my camera: Daria and Slawek.
This photosession was organised by Daria's aunt, who lives in Algarve for many many years. She wanted to make sure that their time in Algarve is well captured and she also joined us during the day :)
I love meeting all three of them. So many stories we shared:)
When I look at these pictures, I still have a memory of how hot that day was!
During our photosession, I was feeling really sorry for Klaudia and Lukasz, for having to wear the wedding clothes! But luckily it was all worth it, as they have now a great memories of their honeymoon in Algarve, captured in the photographs. We met to take pictures on a beach, near to the hotel they were staying. Funny enough: there was a wedding happening there, so we had an awkward two brides moment :D
Beautiful Justyna wasn't the usual pregnant woman :) She wasn't afraid to climb the cliffs, or jump to the ocean and show her beauty. I loved photographing her! I also convinced her baby daddy to join in for few pictures. Thank you Justyna and Lukasz for choosing me to capture this amazing time of your life, in the amazing Aveiros beach, one of my favourite places to photograph.
Sardine magnets, key chains and pins and many more!
All decorated with portuguese tiles that during the years in Portugal I collected on my photographs.

That day was Piotr's birthday and his gorgeous fiancee Agata planned a surprise photoshoot with me to capture their love in the Algarve paradise 😍 We schedule to meet in Lagos, took a walk in the old town and after a quick outfit change we continued to nearby beaches. They are a very energetic, happy, young couple and I think you can see that in the photographs I took! I feel honoured to be a part of a birthday surprise! :)

The final parade of the 36th Faro Motorcycle Meeting once again filled the streets of the Algarve's capital with motorcyclists. Two, three, or four-wheel motorcycles, more traditional, or more unusual - have you ever thought of riding a TV, for example? - delighted many thousands of people who went out to say “see you next year” to the bikers.
I photographed the parade as a work for Sul Informacao, you can see more pictures here.
Monchique is a small town in the mountains in Algarve. It is a town that often seems to be frozen in time. Visits to that town feel like tim traveling. Old buildings, vintage cars and motorcycles, people living simple lives. Here are some pictures of one of the houses my hudband used to live in when he was a child. The time traveling feeling got even stronger.

It is often a case that photographers don't have pictures of themselves. So to change that, on the day of national holiday that we both had a day off , I took my boy to a lovely location, a castle of Paderne, put my camera on a tripod and with a help of remote controler we took some cute and funny photos of us.
Also Algarve is so much more then just sea, sun and sand :)

Klaudia and Konrad chose Faro for their last climpse of summer this year.
When planning their holidays they decided they want to keep, on photographs, the special time before they get married next year. We walked around Faro's old town enjoying its charming places and sunny October, and finished the day with a lovely sunset by Ria Formosa.
Welcome to my crafts world. Full of Portuguese tiles and Algarvian doors. I create each piece using my pictures that during the years in Portugal I collected on my photographs.
