Semana Academica do Algarve - 2.05.2016

The Monday night of the XXXI Academic Week of the Algarve was all about Toy. The musician ruled the stage and had thousands of his fans singin the chorus of his best-known songs. 
Before Toy, it was up to Rúben Filipe to go on stage and warm up the environment.

Semana Academica do Algarve - 1.05.2016

Sunday night of Semana Academica do Algarve had less audience than the previous two, but the animation was not less. The first to take the stage was Miguel Azevedo the front of the stage didn't have many people, but, shortly after, it was full of people dancing under the instructions of the artist and his dancers. Then it was Dj Ademar's turn to take the stage and he didn't disappoint. Full report here.

Semana Academica do Algarve - 30.04.2016

The 2016 Semana Academica do Algarve venue filled up to see the shows by Ricky Boy, Nelson Freitas and DJ Ride. As usual, the audience increased with the course of the night and, even when DJ Ride performed on the main stage, people continued to arrive in the festval. See on the pictures how crowded it got! :)

Serenata Abertura da Semana Academica do Algarve 2016

The old town of Faro went back to wearing blue last night for the solemn moment that started the XXXI Academic Week of the Algarve: the Monumental Serenade. Fado sung by students were the soundtrack for the moment when freshmen were able, for the first time, to trace their cover after being "baptized". However, students were not the only ones present at Largo da Sé in Faro. Many family members, were also present, to witness the remarkable moment for the University of Algarve students.

Richie Campbell z zespołem The 911 Band wystąpił w ostatnią noc Semana Académica w Faro. Młody wokalista muzyki reggae, dancehall i soul, uwielbiany szczególnie przez młodziutkie fanki rozgrzał licznie zgromadzoną publiczność, która do białego rana bawiła się przy występie DJ.

Semana Académica do Algarve. 9 maja 2013


Czwartkowa noc upłynęła przy występach grup studenckich "tunas". Znaczenie "tunas" wśród studentów można porównać do statusu cheerleaderek na uczelniach amerykańskich. Zapraszam do fotorelacji z występów dwóch najważniejszych grup Universidade do Algarve: grupy żeńskiej "Feminis Ferventis" i zespołu męskiego "Versus Tuna".

Semana Académica do Algarve. 8 maja 2013


Dnia 8 maja na scenie królowały klimaty bliskie fanom muzyki typu disco polo. Koncert rozpoczął Fabio Lagarto z zepsołem, który rozgrzał publikę przed występem legendarnego Quim Barreiros - wykonawca i autor piosenek portugalskiej muzyki "pimba". Teksty piosenek muzyki "pimba" to teksty o zabarwieniu erotycznym sugerujące treść bez użycia słów mówiących wprost. Można spokojnie porównać do polskiego utworu disco polo "Sąsiadka" :)

Semana Académica do Algarve. 4 maja 2013.


Kolejny dzień festiwalu studenckiego Semana Académica w Faro. Tym razem na dużej scenie wstąpiły dwa portugalskie zespoły: Orelha Negra i Blasted Mechanism.
